Authentication & Certification
Charlotte Rey and Anne Borde help individuals who have a thousand questions when it comes to selling their jewel(s). How much is it worth on the market? Is it solid gold or gold-plated? How do you identify the stones? And, after all, what if it comes from a prestigious house?
With the jewel in hand, the Castafiore founders determine the nature of the materials, the weight of the gold, the carats of the stones, and so on. They also look for a hallmark, the sign of a renowned jeweller.
This expertise then gives rise to a digital certificate of authenticity registered in the Blockchain (GoodsID), in other words traceable and unfalsifiable; it will accompany the jewel throughout its existence, as it passes from one owner to another.
