The circular economy
Make second-hand your first choice.
On July 28, planet Earth reached its limits. We speak of overshoot when nature's demand exceeds its regenerative limits. Respected and well-managed, our planet provides us with everything we need to live without compromising our natural resources and our environments, but when demand exceeds this supply, we reach "overshoot day": humanity is squandering natural resources faster than they can regenerate.
To prevent or slow this overshoot, we must begin better resource management, reduce CO2 emissions, and develop renewable energy sources. We must act in a more responsible and planet-friendly manner to hope for a better future.
With Castafiore we want to be part of
this more responsible approach to consumption. Indeed, why constantly produce new jewelry when you can simply collect jewelry that people no longer want? Thus, Castafiore is part of a circular economy. There is already enough jewelry in circulation, languishing in trunks, closets, and other places, just waiting for one thing: to be worn!
So rummage through your old chests and part with your jewelry by giving it a second life on Castafiore.
