The medal is very important and the typography (bar of the Q towards the left) as well as the surround in stripes are very rare and sought after. French work from the first half of the 20th century signed A. Augis. Presence of the eagle's head hallmark for 18 carat gold and the manufacturer's hallmark on the bail.
