Toi et Moi Ring, 19th Century, Swirls, Diamonds, Gold and Platinum
Magnificent antique Toi et Moi ring in solid 18-karat (750/1000) yellow gold and platinum, stamped with the owl and mascaron hallmarks applied by the Assay Office. French Art Nouveau work from the late 19th century. The ring head features a platinum design of intersecting scrolls, centered with two rose-cut, pavilion-set diamonds in eight-prong settings. Three rose-cut, pavé-set diamonds adorn the shoulders on either side. Estimated total weight of diamonds: 0.20 - 0.30 carats Width of the central motif: 1.4 cm Ring weight: 2.78 g Ring size: 58 (diameter 18.5 mm, sizes 8 1/4 / R) Condition: Very good, with some minor chips on the diamonds. The band is slightly thinner and oval at the back. This is an authentic antique ring, full of charm and very bright. Symbolizing fidelity, it makes an ideal gift for engagements, wedding anniversaries, or to celebrate a birth.
