Bandeau ring in yellow gold and platinum, sapphire and diamonds
18k yellow gold ring (750/1000), hallmarked with an eagle's head, and platinum with a dog's head hallmark. This sublime, domed tank ring is composed of three bands. The one in the center has an oval cushion-cut sapphire set with 4 wide prongs, flanked by 2 x 2 old-cut brilliant-cut diamonds. On either side, two rings, shaped like a band, are paved with diamonds with cascading gadroons on each side of the mount. Total weight of the sapphire: approximately 1.81 carats. Thickness: approximately 6.5 mm, ring width at the base: approximately 7.7 mm. Antique jewelry - French work from the early 1940s.
