Augis love ring in 18K yellow gold (eagle's head hallmark) decorated with the inscription "+ qu'hier - que demain", set with red stones (synthetic rubies) and an 8x8 cut diamond. French work circa 1950, signed A.AUGIS. Gross weight: 7.79 g Height: 1.80 cm Ring size: 54 (diameter 17.10 / US 6.75). Condition: very light micro scratches on the gold parts, see photos. A jewelry designer since 1830, the Lyon-based company Augis specializes in the manufacture of religious and sentimental medals. In 1907, she created her famous love medal, based on the verse by Rosemonde Gérard: "Because you see, every day I love you more, today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow."
