18kt yellow and white gold bandeau ring (hallmark: eagle's head) set in its center with an old-fashioned cut diamond weighing approximately 0.15Ct in a surround of rose-cut diamonds, the total weight of which is estimated at approximately 0.15Ct. French work, Art Deco, circa 1935. Gross weight: 3.27g Ring size: 59 (diameter 18.75/ US 8.60) Pattern height: 1.00cm Condition: slight micro scratches on the gold parts, slight abrasion and some shocks on the diamonds, see photos. The Art Deco movement, short for “Decorative Arts”, was born around 1910. It reached its peak in the 1920s and then declined in the 1930s.
