Regional gold and enamel Capelet ring
Old ring called Capelet in 18kt yellow gold (eagle's head hallmark), decorated in its center with an enameled tray decorated with a cross, an anchor, and a heart. The three symbols, also called "the three virtues" represent: - the cross: faith - the marine anchor: hope - the heart: charity 19th century French work, from northern France, Flanders. Gross weight: 2.45g Finger size: 63 (diameter 20.00 / US 10.25). Height: 0.60 Ct Condition: very light micro scratches on the gold parts, missing enamel, see photos. A regional jewel from northern France, the capelet ring was worn by women but also by sailors as a small rosary. All our old rings.
