A platinum ring dating from around 1910, crafted in platinum and set with a remarkable natural Burmese sapphire weighing 8.47 carats.
The center sapphire features an intense blue color and excellent transparency; it is accompanied by a certificate from the Istituto Gemmologico Nazionale (IGN) confirming its natural Burmese (Myanmar) origin and the absence of heat treatment.
The platinum mounting features an elegant openwork design typical of the early 20th century and is accented with natural round-cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.20 carats.
The mounting’s refined design beautifully showcases the sapphire, while the diamond-set shoulders add a subtle touch of sparkle and character.
