SEAMAN SCHEPPS "Bubbles" Cocktail Ring in 14-karat white gold, set with 17 Ceylon sapphires totaling approximately 40 carats and 12 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.80 carats.
SEAMAN SCHEPPS is an American jewelry house founded in 1934 that quickly achieved resounding success. Among its famous clients were the Duchess of Windsor and President Franklin Roosevelt.
The “Bubbles” collection, created in the 1950s, came in many variations, but models entirely set with gemstones are very rare.
Inside the ring shank is a partially worn “SEAMAN SCHEPPS” signature, a “14K” gold Hallmark, and the Engraving “P.S.V ” (partially worn away) for Patricia Schepps Vail, his daughter, who took over the business upon her father’s death in 1972.
