18kt yellow gold cocktail ring (hallmark: eagle's head) adorned with a tiger's eye quartz cabochon. Vintage French work from the 70s. Gross weight: 5.60 g Height: 1.70 cm Ring size: 53 (diameter 17.00 / US 6.50). Condition: very light micro scratches and oxidation on the gold parts, and slight abrasion of the stone, see photos. Did you know that these are inclusions of fibers of crocidolite (from the amphibole family) which are the cause of the chatoyancy effect of tiger's eye quartz?
