Platinum engagement ring (hallmark: Mascaron), set in its center with a half-cut diamond weighing approximately 0.85 ct (estimated color H, estimated clarity VS), in a surround of 8x8 cut diamonds, the total weight of which is estimated at approximately 0.60 ct. Circa 1935, Art Deco. Gross weight: 4.04g Finger size: 58 (diameter 18.35/ US 8.25), with spring ring. Pattern height: 1.10cm Condition: very light micro scratches and dents on the gold and platinum parts, and light abrasion and shocks on the diamonds, see photos. The diamond crystallizes between 150 and 750 km under the Earth's mantle. At this depth, the pressure is more than 50,000 times higher than atmospheric pressure.
