An 18-carat yellow gold ring featuring a dynamic band adorned with three claw-set cultured pearls, culminating in a yellow citrine cut in a kite cut and set in a bezel setting.
Note: A highly original and inventive antique ring. It features a beautiful design, an unusual shape for the Center stone, and a striking combination of fine pearls with the amber-yellow Citrine. This creativity is typical of the late 19th century. The presence of fine pearls confirms the age of this ring, as the period from 1880 to 1900 saw a strong craze for fine pearls. The setting of the pearls on pronged corollas is also typical of this period. This is a truly charming ring. Jewelry like this is no longer made today (entirely handcrafted). The overall shape of the design may evoke a flying insect, a bee, or the ermines on the Breton flag.
