Vintage Rose Gold Flower Ring

Art Nouveau ring in 18k rose gold (750°/°°) featuring a symmetrical design adorned with stylized floral motifs. Made in France circa 1900. Features the horse-head hallmark for 18-carat gold pieces made in the provinces between 1838 and 1919, as well as traces of the maker’s mark. Art Nouveau (1890–1910) revolutionized jewelry design by moving away from classic straight lines in favor of sinuous curves inspired by nature. This botanical aesthetic, sometimes with Japanese influences, emphasizes floral motifs and feminine silhouettes in designs with fluid lines.
