18K yellow gold (eagle's head hallmark) drop earrings, adorned with a faceted coral cabochon in a gold disc. Removable drop-shaped pendant, set with a faceted coral bead. 19th Century French Work. Gross weight: 5.90 g Height: 4.80 cm Width: 1.30 cm Condition: very light micro scratches, oxidation, traces of welding, on the gold parts. Natural inclusions, wear, and cracks in the coral, and small break on a coral at the top, see photos. Transformation jewelry, very common in the 17th century, was particularly fashionable during the 19th century . The elegant ladies loved to adapt their jewelry according to their activities.
