Yellow gold cufflinks, adorned with two 20-franc coins made of 22-carat gold, set in an 18-carat gold mounting.
The coins are 20-franc Napoleon III “Laureate Head” coins; one is from 1863 and the other from 1861.
The set is stored in a compartmentalized felt case.
In very good condition.
French craftsmanship from the mid-20th century, with an eagle’s head Hallmark and stamped “Mecan.”
