CARTIER clip brooch in 18-karat white gold and platinum, featuring a central plaque of carved and openwork jade depicting an animal motif. The ring is supported by an oriental-inspired motif of braided gold wires set with 11 high-quality brilliant-cut diamonds in a slight cascade, each weighing 0.65 to 0.8 carats. French craftsmanship from the 1950s. Signed “Monture Cartier” and bearing the manufacturer’s hallmark “R M” (a windmill for “MEUNIER”). Bearing the eagle’s head hallmark and the dog’s head hallmark for gold and Platinum. Sold in its original case.
