Yellow gold and coral cameo brooch

Barrette brooch in 18kt yellow gold, (hallmark: owl), set in its center with a coral cameo representing a woman in antique bust, surrounded by gold scrolls and twists. Vintage work from the first part of the 20th Century. Gross weight: 10.59g Height: 2.70 cm Width: 6.20cm Condition: slight micro scratches and slight oxidation on the gold parts and the cameo, see photos. The coral although it is organic in nature it is a material as precious as a fine stone: its growth is very slow, and red like this, prized for millennia.
