The iridescent dial has more presence than the older, “plain” white dials. Finally, the yellow gold sets the model apart. History

From Catherine Deneuve to Jeanne Moreau and Romy Schneider, the Cartier Baignoire never ceases to charm.

Although Louis Cartier had already introduced an elongated watch design in the early 1900s, the iconic model we know today was created in 1958 in Cartier’s Parisian workshops. A watch with feminine and sensual lines, featuring an innovative and creative Style. A few years later, the elongated Baignoire made its debut in London studios.

While the gold fluted case has retained its rounded design, it has nevertheless undergone some variations over the years, as has the dial, which is sometimes adorned with Roman numerals and sometimes with Arabic numerals. An inherently elegant watch that stands the test of time without losing any of its allure.
