History

This watch follows the Chanel Première, launched by the House in 1987—the first watch conceived and created exclusively for women by Gabrielle Chanel.

Pearls are one of Gabrielle Chanel’s signature symbols: since World War II, the designer has worn her pearls on every occasion, particularly her famous long necklaces, which can be seen in her portraits. It is therefore no surprise to find a watch collection bearing the name “Mademoiselle,” in homage to Coco, with some models adorned with rows of Pearls.
