The Chanel Première is a true gem on the wrist. Most often seen on a steel mesh bracelet, this model is mounted on a glossy black leather strap paired with an 18-carat yellow gold clasp, just as Chanel used to mount them on delicate bracelets during a period when she did so. Even more elegant, more dressy, even more “the little black dress.” The bracelet encircles an 18-carat yellow gold case framed by brilliant-cut diamonds. A delicate case whose crystal, with its faceted cut, resembles that of the quintessential precious stone.
As if to complete the story of this watch, it was sold at the historic address of 42 Avenue Montaigne in Paris. It comes with its sales paperwork and its Chanel pouch.

History
A watch with the allure of a precious jewel, designed by Jacques Helleu and launched by Chanel in 1987. Drawing on the visual codes established by Gabrielle Chanel, the Chanel Première features an innovative design inspired by the lines of the N°5 perfume and the silhouette of the Place Vendôme. With its clean lines and the facets of its sapphire crystal, the Première breaks with the conventions of traditional watchmaking, and Chanel has dedicated a boutique exclusively to it on Rue Montaigne in Paris. Available in only three models at its launch, this watch is said to be the first watch designed and created exclusively for women by Chanel.
