Necklace HENRI HECHT MAÏK "Le clown et le lion" pendant composed of a chain worked in yellow gold 18 carats, brushed holding a pendant featuring a clown riding a lion in yellow gold 18 carats chased and brushed. The clown's costume and the flower in his hand are enhanced with colored enamel. The nose set with a round ruby, the clown's eyes and the lion's eyes set with round emeralds. Both hand-engraved Maïk and numbered 1/8. The enamel on the bow tie is missing.Henri Hecht Maïk (1922-1993), a naive painter who worked on Aubusson tapestries, author and illustrator of children's books, and designer of limited edition jewelry.
