Silver and rhinestone Holy Spirit necklace, circa 1815–1830
A rare Holy Spirit necklace, made of silver and Parisian-style rhinestones for the Marché Normand. Restored around 1815–1830.
It consists of openwork links decorated with knots and scrolls, punctuated by settings set with rhinestones, centered around a large knot supporting a hinged pendant depicting the dove of the Holy Spirit, entirely paved with rhinestones. The piece is complete and in its original condition. This Parisian Yvetot necklace is of very fine quality.
