"Médaille Vierge Art-nouveau Or Jaune signée Jules Holy "Original antique medal in yellow gold 750/000. Period 1880/1900. Escutcheon shape. Signed JULES HOLY. Representing the Virgin Mary in the center of an escutcheon engraved with ears of wheat surmounted by a line of stylized flowers. The ornate hoop is also engraved with a motif of ears of wheat. Engraved on the back with 2 initials in English calligraphy. Height with bezel 32 mms width 19 mms. Weight 1.5 gr. French work, late 19th century. The medal is sold without the chain.
