This charming 18-carat yellow gold open-back locket is adorned with finely chased acanthus leaf motifs; the center of the locket is set with small emeralds and four small pearls. The locket opens to reveal an 18-carat yellow gold compartment concealed by an openwork acanthus leaf motif. Dimensions: 4.5 x 2.2 cm. French craftsmanship from the first half of the 19th century.
