Rose-cut diamond shuttle opening locket
Old pendant, shuttle photo holder medallion, in silver, rose gold and 18Kt green guilloché (hallmark: owl), with naturalist garland-style decoration, set in its center with a rose-cut shuttle diamond, the weight of which is estimated at approximately 0.15 Ct. Belle Epoque, Circa 1900. Gross weight: 5.13g Height (with bail): 4.20 cm Length (medallion only): 2.90 cm Width: 2.00 cm Condition: very slight micro scratches, slight shocks, and oxidation on the gold parts, small shocks on the diamond, see photos. The rose cut is one of the first faceted cuts of the diamond , developed in the 16th century. It is composed of 3 to 24 triangular facets arranged in a dome on a flat base. All our antique pendants.
