Art Deco Watch in Platinum and 11-Carat Diamonds

Art Deco watch in platinum and diamonds. The articulated bracelet, entirely set with diamonds, forms a geometric pattern. This pattern consists of alternating links featuring four-leaf clovers on one side and two openwork baguette-cut diamonds on the other.

The case is also entirely set with brilliant-cut and baguette-cut diamonds. The elongated dial and the typography of the numerals are typical of the period. The hand-wound mechanical movement is unsigned but marked “Swiss Made, 15 jewels.” A French piece from the Art Deco period, crafted between 1932 and 1936. It bears the dog’s head Hallmark for French Platinum jewelry and the manufacturer’s Hallmark “P K” with two clovers, indicating Pavel Koiran. 

The clover motifs are represented by 12 high-quality round diamonds (minimum FG VS) totaling approximately 0.36 ct. There are a total of approximately 5 carats of brilliant-cut diamonds. The baguette diamonds each weigh 0.17 ct (DEF VVS), for a total of approximately 6 carats of baguette diamonds. Thus, there are a total of approximately 11 carats of diamonds on the bracelet. 

The jewelry portion is in excellent overall condition; the movement is functioning but runs slightly slow. Please note that a complete service can be performed upon request and based on a quote.
