Very elegant Blancpain Villeret Triple Calendar Moon Phase ref. 6595, sold on December 21, 1990, accompanied by an exceptionally complete set and preserved in remarkable Condition.
This timepiece perfectly embodies the spirit of Blancpain's first Villeret collections, at the crossroads of the 1980s and 1990s, the founding period of the great revival of Swiss mechanical watchmaking.
It features all the discreet, timeless elegance that made this iconic line such a success.
The steel case is sublimated by a fine Yellow gold bezel, offering a particularly refined contrast.
The beautifully preserved white dial features applied Roman numeral hour markers, gold leaf hands, a triple calendar display with pointer indication of the date, and a beautiful moon phase at 6 o'clock.
With its classic 34 mm proportions, this Villeret has a particularly elegant and balanced presence on the wrist, true to the codes of the great dress watches of the Period.
The Watch is powered by the Blancpain 95 automatic caliber, renowned for its finesse and sophistication. It boasts excellent running performance following a recent check and adjustment (+4.7 s/day).
