Rare and highly sought-after, this Longines Ultra-Chron embodies the technical excellence of the Longines manufacture in the late 1960s. Equipped with a high-frequency movement (36,000 vibrations per hour), the Ultra-Chron Caliber 431 was among the most accurate watches of its period.

This high beat rate enhances running stability and attests to Longines’ watchmaking expertise during the golden age of Swiss mechanical watchmaking.

An 18-carat yellow gold cushion-shaped case (33 x 33 mm) with very modern proportions, featuring a superb hue that shifts between yellow gold and a subtle rose gold tint.

Remarkable condition: edges still sharp, uniform surfaces, very few marks.

Case back and bezel are virtually flawless.

The original silver dial is exceptional: the sunburst finish is intact, the applied hour markers are impeccable, and the logo and “Ultra-Chron” inscription are perfectly defined. No visible oxidation.

Hands are consistent and well-preserved.
