Rare and sought-after, this Longines Ultra-Chron embodies the technical excellence of the Longines Manufacture in the late 1960s. Equipped with a high-frequency movement (36,000 vibrations per hour), the Ultra-Chron calibre 431 was one of the most precise watches of its time.
This high cadence enhances running stability and testifies to Longines' watchmaking expertise during the golden age of Swiss mechanics.
Cushion-shaped case in yellow gold 18 carats (33 x 33 mm) of very modern proportions, with a superb hue oscillating between yellow gold and a slight pinkish tinge.
Remarkable condition: edges still sharp, surfaces even, very few marks.
Back and bezel almost perfect.
The original silver dial is exceptional: sunray finish intact, applied indexes impeccable, Ultra-Chron logo and wording perfectly defined. No visible oxidation.
