OMEGA "Seamaster" watch in steel and leather

OMEGA Seamaster Chronograph Caliber 321, Ref. 145.006-66, circa 1967.

A rare Omega Seamaster chronograph, reference 145.006-66, produced around 1967 and powered by the legendary Omega Caliber 321, a column-wheel chronograph movement also used in the first generations of the Speedmaster.

This model stands out for its remarkable late-1960s design, combining a tonneau-shaped steel case with a beautiful original matte black tri-compax dial.

The dial features three recessed sub-dials: a small seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock, a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, and a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock.

The white tachymeter scale on the flange offers a striking contrast to the black dial, while the large orange central chronograph hand gives the watch its signature sporty look.

The tritium-luminous hour markers and hands have developed a uniform and particularly attractive patina.

The steel case, measuring approximately 43 × 38 mm, is in excellent condition, with its lines and finishes well-preserved, particularly its sunburst-brushed bezel. The screw-down caseback features the famous Seamaster locket with the seahorse.

The watch is equipped with the Omega 321 mechanical caliber, a hand-wound chronograph with a column wheel and 17 Rubies, operating at 18,000 vibrations per hour.

The movement was recently inspected by our Parisian watchmaker, who specializes in Vintage watches, and is in perfect working order.

This watch also has an interesting provenance, as it belonged to a former Omega employee, which complements its excellent condition.

It is now fitted with a new black crocodile leather Bracelet crafted by ABP Concept in Paris, which looks particularly elegant with this watch.

The watch also comes with its original red Omega case and three additional Bracelets: a Vintage rally Bracelet, a black TOT sport Bracelet, and a blue rally Bracelet.
