The dial is gilded, smooth on the outside with a center with stamped horizontal relief. Applied indexes with luminescent coating and date at 3 o'clock. The Nautilus collection was created in the 1970s by designer Gérald Genta, who notably created the Royal Oak by Audemars Piguet a few years earlier.
