A rare Vacheron Constantin watch in 18-carat yellow gold, reference 7813, produced during the 1970s.

This elegant tonneau-shaped watch perfectly embodies the refined aesthetic developed by the Geneva-based manufacturer during that decade. Its case, with its understated and balanced lines, combines modernity and classicism in a spirit characteristic of the most successful watchmaking creations of the period.

It is powered by the famous Vacheron Constantin K1014 in-house manual-winding caliber, a movement particularly prized by connoisseurs for its finesse, quality of craftsmanship, and high level of finish. Regulated in five positions and adjusted for temperature variations, it attests to the care the House devotes to the precision of its timepieces.

The original silver dial, remarkably understated, is adorned with applied yellow gold hour markers and matching baton hands. It is in particularly attractive condition, with no visible oxidation.

The watch was recently inspected by a Parisian watchmaker specializing in vintage timepieces. The movement was inspected, tested, and oiled. The results obtained on the chronocomparator demonstrate excellent performance for a timepiece of this age, with an average rate of nearly one second per day and consistent operation in the various test positions.

Presented with its original Vacheron Constantin case and outer box, it will be delivered on its leather bracelet (in excellent condition), complete with a gold-plated Vacheron Constantin-signed pin buckle.
