Art Nouveau Brooch Pendant with Rubies, Diamonds, and a Fine Pearl in 18-carat Rose Gold and Platinum
Antique pendant and brooch in 18-carat rose gold (750) and platinum, hallmarked with an eagle-head hallmark on the clasp and the shank, as well as a diamond-shaped goldsmith’s master’s mark. French Art Nouveau work. The centerpiece features a finely chiseled three-leafed plant motif with beautiful relief, surmounted by patterned platinum foliage accented with 18 rose-cut diamonds. It is adorned with a natural pink ruby set in a prong setting. The scrollwork around the piece is stylized to form a heart and ends with a delicate pearl pendant.
This piece can be worn in two ways: as a pendant, thanks to two rings attached to the top of the mounting, or as a brooch, thanks to its pin.
