Hermès vintage anchor chain necklace, farandole model in silver
The story begins in 1938, when Robert Dumas, a member of the Hermès family, had the idea of drawing inspiration from a boat anchor chain to design a piece of jewelry. Thus was born the Chaîne d'ancre bracelet, with its natural balance and chic and sporty look. A play on shapes and volumes, its links, polished, pearled or twisted, are multiplied into necklaces, sautoirs, rings, buckles and bracelets. Signed Hermès and numbered.
