Rare scarf-strap opening in yellow gold 18 Kt (hallmark: owl) decorated with Bacchus and Bacchantes. Very fine 19th century work. This enthusiasm was sparked by Napoleon I's Italian campaign, then renewed when Napoleon III acquired part of the Campana collection.
