History

Tudor is Rolex’s sister brand: it offers exactly the same quality, without compromise. It’s therefore no surprise that Tudor launched its own version of the legendary Rolex Submariner, which had been released just one year earlier in 1953. However, unlike Rolex, Tudor introduced a women’s version of the Submariner, aptly naming it the “Mini Sub” and giving it some very interesting stylistic features. With its 33 mm case, the Mini Sub is perfectly proportioned for a woman’s wrist, with a water resistance of 100 m and reassuring sturdiness. Although the Mini Sub was never abestsellerlikethe Submariner, it is an intriguing choice that is now experiencing a resurgence in popularity due to its intrinsic qualities.
