Exceptional bracelet in 18-carat gold and silver from the 19th century in its armorial case. This spectacular bracelet is made up of 14 articulated motifs decorated with scrolled leaves and a large central flower. Each element is set with rose-cut diamonds and some are adorned with a cut emerald. All these stones are grain set or closed set with small claws typical of 19th century settings. These elements with floral decoration were very fashionable at the time, we find them in particular on trembling brooches with the same jewelry work. The central flower is supported by openwork and articulated links which appear in a gradient up to the clasp. The joints of each link give great flexibility to the bracelet which fits perfectly on the wrist and makes it very pleasant to wear. Despite its imposing volume, the work of this frame is remarkably light. As you can see in the photos, the design of the links lets the light pass through and reveals the delicacy and refinement of the composition and the transparent work of the jeweler. Presented in its original box, this bracelet must have belonged to a great aristocratic family. The leaf models are similar to the great princely collections, we find the same shapes, the same decorations and the same stone settings on our bracelet. All of the diamonds weigh between approximately 13 and 14 carats and the 6 emeralds total a weight of approximately 6 to 7 carats. The importance of these stones demonstrates the quality of this unique and exceptional jewel. Currently it is very difficult to find pieces from this period in such good condition on the market, having not undergone any transformation or repair, they have become very rare and highly prized by collectors. This bracelet will delight connoisseurs of very beautiful old jewelry. Length: 18cm Width of the central pattern: 4.5 cm Width of the clasp set with an emerald: 1.2 cm Weight: 57.4 g Dimensions of the central emerald: 8 mm x 6.5 mm Box: approximately 21 x 10.5 cm 19th century period.

Authentication & Certification

Charlotte Rey and Anne Borde help individuals who ask themselves a thousand questions when selling their jewelry(s). How much is it worth on the market? Is it solid gold or gold plated? How to identify stones? And, after all, what if it came from a prestigious house?

With the jewel in hand, the founders of Castafiore determine the nature of the materials, the weight of the gold, the carats of the stones, etc. They are also looking for the trace of a hallmark, a sign of a possible renowned jeweler.

This expertise then gives rise to a digital certificate of authenticity registered in the Blockchain (GoodsID), in other words traceable and unfalsifiable; it will accompany the jewel throughout its existence, over the course of its owners.
